A code of conduct is also seen as an instrument in an internal risk management and control system. A code of conduct has been specifically developed for Crucell and placed on the Company’s website and Intranet. The Company’s employees are regularly examined as to their knowledge of the provisions of this code. The code includes provisions for whistle blowers, which make it possible for employees to report abuses and infractions of the code – anonymously if necessary – without fear of reprisals.
